Welcome to Car Days 2017 (scroll down for tickets and camping). This will be our biggest festival ever, with formula offroad and buggy enduro events for the first time.

The annual Car Days week is the club’s biggest event, with thousands of spectators attending each year.

Car Days starts with two days of Formula Offroad, then a completely new event, Buggy Enduro. The mud bogging is back and the sand drag race has earned it’s place as a very popular event. Then we have the ever popular Auto-X, Drifting, Go-kart, 1/8 mile drag race, the independence day car show and the burnout.

All the outdoor events are located at the Akureyri Car Club motor park. The car show will be indoors at the Boginn arena.

As usual tickets can be bought when arriving or beforehand in Reykjavik or Akureyri (see below).

Tickets
Wristbands for the whole week (Saturday to Saturday) are available in Akureyri at skeljungur gas station, Hörgárbraut (AK-INN), in Reykjavik at 10-11 (supermarket) Vesturlandsvegi Reykjavík and at Akureyri Car Club, Hlidarfjallsvegur 13, Akureyri. The price is 9500 krona. The wristband gives access to all events during the Car Days 2017 week. Ticket for a single event is 2000 krona. Free access for 12 years old and younger.

Camping ground
6000 krona for the whole week (Saturday to Sunday). Wristband for the whole week is required for access. 17 years old and younger are not allowed. Electricity is available, 800 krona each day.

Playground
The „playground“ (drift, burnouts) is open 24 hours, except for event hours obviously. Access is free. This may change, i.e. opening hour and access.
